All students should be on Artsonia! If you can not find your child on Artsonia please email me so we can fix this issue. They all have their own account because this is how I grade and keep track of their work. It is an online portfolio for their artwork from K through 12th grade and on. People can view their art and leave comments. It does not give away student information. If you give permission for their work to be public that means other students and faculty can view their art. They can also win awards based on the number of people in their fan club, and the comments on their work. It allows us to see the progression of their work and learning throughout the years. It also allows the students to build confidence and receive positive feedback on their work. It is an incredibly useful and important part of our curriculum. There is also a gift shop where you can order t-shirts, coffee mugs, and other keepsakes with their work printed onto these items. The money is used to support funding of the arts program including field trips, supplies, and the art exhbit at the end of the year. However the app is completely free and I would like to thank you all for your continued support.
